  70. EASI-PLAN Pro is a powerful easy-to-use software package which enables
  71. new and large-sized businesses to prepare fully-integrated and
  72. comprehensive 5-year financial projections for business plans & budgets,
  73. raising finance, strategic planning, forecasting, appraisals etc.
  74.  
  75. It can also be used by professional advisers, consultants, training
  76. organisations and financial institutions. EASI-PLAN Pro is aimed
  77. at businesses with annual sales above one million pounds/dollars,
  78. engaged in manufacturing, distribution or services. Its reports can be
  79. pre-formatted to suit either a sole trader or limited companies.

  81. Based on a user's forecasts and assumptions, EASI-PLAN compiles
  82. integrated financial projections (P&Ls, cashflows, balance sheets &
  83. ratios) for one year ahead on a monthly basis and, in less detail, for
  84. the next two years on a quarterly basis and the final two years on an
  85. annual basis. It produces numerous management and financial reports
  86. together with graphs for many key variables which can be displayed on the
  87. screen or printed. It also produces reports detailing all the underlying
  88. assumptions.

  90. EASI-PLAN incorporates facilities for graphing key results; undertaking
  91. "what-if" analyses; preparing "first-cut" projections; generating a
  92. textual summary report; doing selective & global sensitivity analysis;
  93. drilling down to underlying assumptions; exporting model to spreadsheet;
  94. rolling forward projections one month at a time; linking into spreadsheet
  95. data; comparing monthly actuals with projected; special function keys for
  96. rapid data entry; accruing expenses etc.

  98. EASI-PLAN is very suitable for users with limited or no prior experience
  99. of computers or financial planning as well as for very experienced users
  100. who do not wish to go to the very considerable trouble, or waste valuable
  101. time, developing their own planning system on a spreadsheet.

  103. Other versions, called EASI-PLAN Micro and Lite, for smaller businesses
  104. are also available. Their file names are EASIM*.ZIP and EASIL*.ZIP.

  106. EASI-PLAN is very friendly and menu-driven with extensive "on-line"
  107. context-sensitive help.

  109. EASI-PLAN is an internationally useful product. The layout of its
  110. reports and accounts are based on UK conventions. Its currency symbol can
  111. be altered by a user.

  113. The supplied software is 'shareware'. In return for registering, a user
  114. receives the latest fully-operational version of EASI-PLAN with a 190+
  115. page A5 spiral-bound printed manual (incorporating extensive tutorial

  138. EASI-PLAN can be installed and run via Windows (recommended) or DOS.

  140. Via Windows:

  142. a) Unzip the supplied archive file "EASI*.ZIP" (most probably you have
  143. already done this if you are reading this message).
  144. b) Move all the extracted files into a new sub-directory (EASIP3 is
  145. the recommended name).
  146. c) Use Program or File Manager ("File | Run") to run "Easiplan.exe".
  147. This installation program will extract files, create a new Program
  148. Group, and set up icons for EASI-PLAN and its text files within this
  149. Group.
  150. d) Switch to the EASI-PLAN Program Group, click on the "Try Easi-Plan"
  151. icon and away you go..

  155. a) Unzip the supplied archive file "EASI*.ZIP" (most probably you have
  156. already done this if you are reading this message). 
  157. b) Move all the extracted files into a new sub-directory (EASIP3 is 
  158. the recommended name).
  159. c) Unzip a further file called "EASIPLAN.EXE" which will be located 
  160. within the EASIP3 sub-directory. Note that this is another archive 
  161. file and is NOT an executable - if you try to run it directly from DOS 
  162. as an executable you will get an error message.
  163. d) Run an introductory program called GO.BAT by typing "GO". This will 
  164. lead you into EASI-PLAN. If your PC uses a very old display, do not 
  165. select this option - choose  e) below.

  207. restriction, on one computer or at one network node by the registered
  208. user.  In return for registering, you will also receive a copy of the
